I have reviewed the monitoring logs, and for the 5 days that you mentioned there was no downtime detected by our servers. To determine the reason why downtime was not detected I need to find out some information about your network topology.
Is your web-server behind an advanced gateway with a proxy? In our experience with Microsoft Forefront TMG, if certain configurations are set the gateway keeps accepting the connection on port 80 even though the web-server behind it is offline at the time. In such case our server would think that the host is alive since the connection was accepted. You would have to configure the gateway to let the requests on port 80 go directly to the server (bypassing the proxy).
I also noticed that you are using Port Connection as the type of monitoring for this website. A while back we have added a new type of monitoring type called Web Discovery. It specifically detects that a valid HTTP status is returned when attempting to access the website. I strongly advise to use it in this situation.
